The Acquisition Law Practice Group advises the Secretary of the Army and the Army Secretariat on a full range of research, development, acquisition, logistics, information technology, and business operations matters. Our principal clients within the Secretariat include the Army Acquisition Executive, the Army Chief Information Officer, The Army Chief Management Officer, the Director of the DA Office for Small Business Programs, and other Department of the Army (DA) Secretariat officials, Program Executive Officers, (PEO) and Program Managers (PM), on all matters relating to DA acquisition, logistics, and technology programs, and major weapons systems and services acquisitions, contract law, non-appropriated fund contracting, information technology, cyber law, information security, intellectual property, research and development, testing, international acquisition, security assistance, government property, NATO matters, privatization, small and disadvantaged businesses and military construction.
